Beef – humane, free range, grass-fed

Our first offering was a success! We are now taking orders on a rolling basis- see below.

General details:

A 15lb box will cost just $105, an average price of just $7 a lb! An amazing price for USDA, free-range, grass fed humane beef!

Pickup will currently be in Park Slope, Brooklyn

 

What’s in the box?

In order to ensure the entire animal is spoken for, we are selling the meat in bulk “boxes” with a variety of cuts in each to balance each box. We’ve divided the meat into 4 categories Ground, Stew, Chuck/Roasts, Steaks/Ribs/Brisket so no box will have exactly the same cuts of meat (that’s not possible given the proportions of steer) but they will all be balanced by type.

Each 15 lb box will have approximately: 4.5lbs ground, 5.5 lbs of chuck/roasts, 1lb stew, 4.5 lbs ribs/brisket/steaks

I’m sold! How do I place my order?

To secure your order all you need to do is:

  • Pay your $25 joining fee   not yet!
  • Pay the $101.25 for your box

All payments can be made through PayPal by visiting our Payment Page (which isn’t up yet).   If anyone has any trouble, email us and we’ll send you a link for payment.

Fees- add $1 for the Joining Fee and $5 for the Beef Box to cover PayPal’s fees. 

  

Can I pay by check?

Sure! If you’d like to pay by check, please email us and we’ll send you the address and all other details needed to make the check out. Email us first- we will hold your spot for a few days to give time for your check to arrive if we know it’s coming. You save a few dollars in PayPal fees this way as well.

This bulk box sounds like a lot of meat- can I order individual cuts?

First, 15lbs isn’t as much as it sounds like- it takes about the same room as a full bag of groceries from the supermarket.  Selling it this way makes it much easier for us to ensure the entire animal is used in a timely fashion (and cuts down on our logisitical issues!).

However, we can offer a la carte ordering, by cuts.  Minimum orders will apply.  We’ll be posting pricing for that soon but if you’re interested in the meantime, drop us a line with what cuts you’d like and we’ll go from there.

Dates and deadlines

We’re currently accepting orders on a rolling basis.  Once we have sufficient orders, we’ll announce a pick-up date. We’re planning to have a nother slaughter in the next few weeks so we’d like to have all orders in by Monday Oct 26th.  That will help us get the meat to you as quickly as possible.  We then plan to have the meat ready by about Nov 2nd. There will be future offerings very soon so if you missed this one, dont worry!  Drop us a line to find out about our next offering.
